For this artifact, I chose a virtual tour of my classroom. I chose this virtual tour because it demonstrates my ability to organize the classroom in such a way as to promote and facilitate learning. Some highlights from this tour which demontrate my classroom organization include: numbered slots for each student where they receive new music and returned, graded work, and where they can keep their music so they do not lose it; an organized white board separated into four sections, one for each music class which has the date, daily assignments, and homework due dates; organization of all the items in the room like chairs, drum kit, piano and music stands in such a way that provides seamless transitions and allows me to establish procedures for everything; and posted rules displayed where all students can see them so that no student can say they are unaware of any classroom rules.
